Description

This easy chipotle mayo recipe is smoky, creamy, and perfect as a dip or spread with just the right amount of heat.

Ingredients

  •  1 cup mayonnaise
  •  2 chipotle peppers in adobo, finely chopped
  •  1 tablespoon adobo sauce (from the chipotle peppers)
  •  Juice of ½ lime (about 1 tablespoon), or lemon juice
  •  ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  •  Salt, to taste

Instructions

1- In a bowl or blender container, combine mayonnaise, chopped chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, lime juice, smoked paprika (if using), and a pinch of salt.

2- Whisk or blend until smooth and creamy.

3- Taste and adjust heat, acidity, or salt as desired.

4- Serve immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 7–10 days.

Notes

Adjust the spice level by adding more or fewer chipotle peppers. Great with tacos, sandwiches, or grilled meats.
