Description
This Brazilian Mounjaro recipe is a gentle yet powerful detox drink blending yerba mate, apple cider vinegar, lemon, ginger, and optional superfoods for a wellness boost.
Ingredients
- 2 cups hot water
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp butterfly pea flowers
- 1 tsp yerba mate tea
- ½ tsp camu camu powder
- ½ tsp grated ginger
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 1 tsp raw honey (optional)
- ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
- Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
- ½ tsp psyllium husk (optional)
Instructions
- Bring water to a near boil.
- Steep butterfly pea flowers and yerba mate for 5 minutes.
- Strain into a mug.
- Stir in camu camu and ginger.
- Add lemon juice and mix.
- Let cool slightly, then stir in apple cider vinegar.
- Add honey, cinnamon, cayenne, mint, or psyllium if desired.
- Serve warm or over ice.
Notes
