- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
Instructions
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add cream cheese and stir until smooth and melted.
- Slowly pour in milk, whisking constantly until well combined and smooth.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning if using.
- Serve immediately over cooked pasta or as desired.
Notes
For a thinner sauce, add more milk. This sauce is best served fresh but can be refrigerated and reheated gently.
